Rayleigh FC are Supporting the Lily Wythe Brain Cancer Appeal

Rayleigh FC are this Christmas supporting the Lily Wythe Brain Cancer Appeal.

From Paul Mitchell: A friend who runs Hawkwell Under 13 asked if we would help with raising some money for Lilly who has a brain tumour by getting my team to wear Santa hats. After a conversation with the Rayleigh FC committee it was agreed to get as many teams as possible to join in. The response was overwhelming. You can do so much good when you have the backing of your team club and great parents.

Here are some of the pictures from the weekend.

Lily is a 13year old student at Eastwood Academy and is diagnosed with a rare inoperable brain tumour in October.

There is currently no treatment available in the UK. However there is a drugs trial in America. All money raised will be given to help cover the cost of Lilys treatment in America.

Please feel free to donate:

£25k has been raised so far of the £300k needed.
